Halloween Extravaganza Set Up
Help us set up for our annual Halloween Pop Up with Hope in a Suitcase and Happy Trails for Kids. Organize costumes, caregiver bags, set up canopies, tables, chairs and decorate. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by and adult.

Join us for our annual Halloween Pop up with Hope in a Suitcase and Happy Trails for Kids. Help Make Good distribute books, costumes, caregiver bags, staff stations and other duties to ensure 100’s of current foster youth ages 7-18 years old have a Happy Halloween.
AM Shift: 9:45am-1:00pm
PM Shift: 12:30pm-4:00pm
All Day: 9:45am-4:00pm
Volunteers must be 15 and over for this.
Snack, drinks and lunch provided.
Back to School Pop Up Shopping Event
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: BACK-TO-SCHOOL POP-UP
Join Make Good, Inc. on Friday, August 14th, for a free Back-to-School Pop-Up Shopping Event serving California State University, Dominguez Hills students enrolled in the Toro Guardian Scholars program.
The program supports current and former foster youth, students and unaccompanied minors as they navigate higher education.
Volunteers will serve as personal shopping assistants, station captains and help oversee stations and distribute items.
Date: Friday, August 14th
Volunteer shift: 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Age requirement: Volunteers must be 16 or older.
Lunch and beverages will be provided.
Please sign up only if you can stay for the entire shift. We count on our volunteers to help complete all assigned tasks. Please do not bring pets unless they are certified service animals.

Volunteers will serve as personal shoppers and help distribute books, backpacks, school supplies and more.

Volunteer shift: 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Age requirement: Volunteers must be 16 or older.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Session 2: Kickstart College & Career Shopping Day
Volunteer for our Kickstart College Pop-Up Shopping Session 2 on Wednesday, July 15th. This event is a FREE pop-up shopping day for under-resourced high school graduates of the SEED School of Los Angeles County who will be attending a four-year college in the fall. The SEED School is Los Angeles' first free-tuition public boarding school located at Manchester & Vermont.
Shift: 12:00-3:00
NOTE: Volunteers must be 16+ years old to participate in this event.

A day of pampering and shopping with Hope in a Suitcase for foster teen girls ages 15-17 to prepare them for prom, graduation, and summer jobs.
