Life Literacy Workshop - Financial Literacy

Our next Life Literacy Workshop will be focused on Financial Literacy! These workshops are a series curated specifically for our community of TAY (transition age youth) who are enrolled in college or a higher learning program. The topics are all life skills that will help them on their journey throughout college and beyond.

We are excited to announce that this workshop will be facilitated by rap musician and entrepreneur Brandon “Stix” Salaam-Bailey. He is the founder of the ThinkWatts Foundation and is passionate about teaching financial literacy to underserved communities. After the workshop, the attendees will “shop” for brand new clothing, accessories and more in our TAY Shop.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are looking for about 25 volunteers to support on this event. The shift is from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm. on Wednesday, June 14th. You will help us set up, organize the clothing, shoes etc. while the TAY are in the workshop and then after, you will be “Personal Shoppers” with the attendees. Dinner will be provided.

If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out this SIGN UP FORM. You must be 18 years+ to volunteer at this event.
